I'm so glad to see Stephen Colbert pick up on Freedom Fighter Rand Paul's notion of who we should be arresting in this country.
Last week I brought up Sen. Rand Paul's interview on his fellow Freedom Fighting network where he calls for people who attend events where people call for the overthrow of the government to be rounded up and arrested or deported.
This squares entirely with his media-hyped persona that Rand Paul is a Very Serious, Constitution-Loving, conservative who only wants everyone to be free, especially free from government. He just doesn't want people who disagree with him to be able to enjoy those same freedoms he wants for himself. You know like the time he attended a political hate rally where people not only called for the overthrow of the American government but also for the assassination of the president.
As long as people are calling for killing a Democratic president it's good. What Paul mistakenly left out of his newest doctrine of fringe libertarianism is that it's only meant for people who call for the overthrow of a government led by a Republican. Those are the people that should be locked up. He obviously left that part out because if he didn't that would mean he would be calling for his own arrest. And as of this writing, he hasn't turned himself in to the feds yet. So it's obvious his omission clears Republicans from being arrested for merely attending a rally or speech.
