Bought me an iPad over the weekend. I had to order it from apple.com since none of my local Best Buy stores had any in stock. I figured it was a necessary purchase for the survival of The Fold Blog.
This will be my first Apple purchase. Well I have an iPod. But I have always been exclusively Microsoft when it comes to computing. I kind of feel like I'm going behind the back of a friend. I almost feel like a rebel even writing this. Maybe this is a Revolution! that all Freedom Fighting Americans should embark upon. iPads for everyone!!
What sold me on it was the WI-FI 3G combination. And the iBooks. But I've heard the inability to multi-task is very aggravating. Just the thought of not being able to listen to music while surfing or reading a book is a huge turn off for an $800 toy. Maybe its mobility will overshadow its functionality.
