Cohen Quits

Scott Cohen eases the chances of a complete Democratic implosion in Illinois by dropping out of the race. Cohen captured the Democratic nod for Lt. Gov in last week's primary so he would have ran as the running mate of current Democratic Governor Pat Quinn. Only after his victory did the media begin to pay attention to who the guy was and his past. Cohen's dropping out only slightly eases the chances of Democrats losing the governor's office, however.
