What is strangely fascinating about the whole health care debate is that Democrats have two solid bills floating around the House and Senate respectively. Each different in their own right but two plans with cost analysis, agendas, payment projections, you know numbers. It's called a plan. The GOP has nothing. Put aside their fear mongering episodes of death panels, socialism, fascism, tea bagging, and government takeover, and focus on their tangible alternative plans. There's just nothing there.
Unless you want to consider GOP chairman Michael Steele's latest idea to keep Medicare by doing away with government-run programs.
If that makes sense to anyone please let me know. Medicare is a government-run program. It is also a single-payer system, much like member's of Congresses very own plan.
There just comes a point in time when Republicans must be forced to address their inanition and not be allowed to continue with their putrescence any longer. He's actually arguing that Medicare should be done away with and kept because it's necessary. Now go make them own it.
