Not sure I agree with Booman here about Mark Steyn's reasoning to not include $335 million in the stimulus bill to help states treat/prevent STD's. First off let me say Mark Steyn is some sort of parasite that has leeched itself onto the internet, it's not that I agree with him either. I just don't think Steyn is actually inferring only women are to blame for STD's like Booman does. See for yourself.Makes a lot of sense. If we have more STD prevention, it will be safer for loose women to go into bars and pick up feckless men, thus stimulating the critical beer and nuts and jukebox industries.I think what Steyn is saying is that only loose women frequent bars, which obviously isn't true. Most are rather unloose until alcohol sets in. So really what we ought to to do is ban alcohol. Then we won't have to worry about loose women spreading STD's so there will be no need to spend 0.41% of the stimulus bill on loose women. Listen, this alcohol ban could really catch on. I don't know why America hasn't thought of banning alcohol sooner.
