What an extreme change it will be to have a president that is engaged in the affairs of his country. President-Elect Obama's YouTube address about the status of our current economic crisis and his plans to tackle it head on is such a refreshing polar distinction from the last 8 years of a failed presidency that is entirely responsible for our current condition.
Can anyone possibly imagine George Bush leveling with the American in such a candid way? Bush's plan to "save us" was to do nothing and let his Party yell and scream about people's patriotism when they questioned the president's lack of leadership. I don't know why I'm still talking about Bush, him and his Party no longer matter. There are better times ahead.
